About Us

AIESEC Salzburg was founded in 2008 and has now 25 members in total. The University of Salzburg has currently about 18.000 students and is offering a wide range of study programs located in various faculties (catholic theology, law, humanities and natural science). Therefore our Local committee consists of a broad mixture of interests and field of studies. We use it as an advantage and focus your committee structure on diversity.
We value people having different opinions and striving for innovation. We embrace an atmosphere of creativity, tolerance and open-mindedness.

As the president of AIESEC in Salzburg, Anna is the head of our local committee in Salzburg and represents us in every interest to the outside as well as to the AIESEC world.

 

As the main responsible she also is responsible for the coordination of the cooperation between every functional area, and also with their national counterparts. She is pulling the strings and also the future of AIESEC in Salzburg and always has to take a look for sustainability of the local committees work.

She is also responsible for the financial activity of the local committee and cares for the financial sustainability of every action and project

As vice president talent management she is responsible for human resources in AIESEC Salzburg and is principally involved in the well-being and development of the members of the local committee.


Lara is caring for the members of AIESEC in Salzburg; her responsibility is to help them with unfolding their full potential. Therefore she is organizing and doing trainings and keeps on tracking our personal and professional development in the local committee of Salzburg. TM-Talent Management also means team management and so within her work it is also one of her main goals to create a great atmosphere and good teams within the AIESEC structure. She is also responsible for Communication which means she is also the main head for the internal and external communication of AIESEC Salzburg.

 

Carolina Lebesmühlbacher

Vice President Outgoing Exchange and Incoming Exchange

Incoming exchange represents the counterpart to the work of “Outgoing Exchange”; as vice president incoming exchange Caro cares for the people who are coming to Salzburg via AIESEC and doing a project or an internship here. She is responsible for welcoming them and supports them here in Salzburg.

 

Outgoing Exchange means that she is helping students to find the right internship fitting into their interests.

Martin is responsible for External Relations which means he has the contact to the economy of Salzburg. Martin is caring for the main supporters and partners of AIESEC in Salzburg and represents our local committee to the local companies.

 

He is also responsible for every financial activity of the local committee and cares for the financial sustainability of every action and project

Events

Global Village

The Global Village event takes place annually on one afternoon and aims to promote intercultural exchange at our University. Students from different countries and heritages get together and share their culture’s specialties through food, drinks, dance, crafts and music.

 

School project – Colors of the World

“Colors of the World” provides young people in Austria the opportunity to get to know students from specific foreign cultures to learn, to understand and to reflect cultural differences with the aim to spread tolerance and cultural understanding.
The main idea is that 4 young interns from all over the world will come to Salzburg to hold workshops, panel discussions and trainings. The topics and issues which will be discussed are aimed to increase cultural sensitivity and tolerance amongst the Austrian students and young people.

 

Career Days

Career Days offers a unique opportunity to directly get in contact with Corporations and learn about the different professions.
In Workshops, Case Studies and Talk to the Manager- rounds you can proof your knowledge and get an understanding of the day-to-day business.

The Contacta is a job and recruitment fair in Salzburg, which is organized by students for students. The aim of this recruiting fair is to enable our colleagues in touch with interesting and well-known companies. The students get to know the business and learn a lot about internships and career entry. For companies it is also an ideal opportunity to get in contact with the students of the Fachhochschule Salzburg.

 

AIESEC in Salzburg as a student organization works in all areas closely together with the University of Salzburg. The University currently offers more than 17,000 students places. Numerous natural and social science studies offer AIESEC good cooperation opportunities.
