About us
AIESEC Vienna’52 is one of the 6 local chapters of AIESEC in Austria, one of the 112 countries that AIESEC is present in.
Our office is located at the WU, the university of Economics and Business and our local committee comprises about 100 members from different academic and cultural backgrounds. We are organized like a social business that works towards the goal of providing young people with learning experiences that allow them to develop their skills and leadership potential.
How do we reach this goal?
All in all, there are four different ways of getting an experience through AIESEC:
- Be part of a team and work in one of our departments where you can develop specific hard and soft skills within the exchange department, sales, finance, PR or HR among others
- Be part of the management body of our office and develop your leadership skills
- Do a long term internship in a company
- Do a short term internship in a social project
What exactly do we do to reach this goal?
Together we work on…
- maintaining our global exchange programme
- organizing events like Career Days and Skills Academy that connect students to companies
- providing different trainings and seminars that allow our members to develop their skills.
In our daily work, we value diversity, pro-activity and a culture of achieving something meaningful next to our academic career. In that sense, we build a network of likeminded students, working on common goals and sharing similar values and mindsets.
