Why Austria for Turkey?
Austria counts 1.27 million foreign-born residents, representing more than 15% of the population (Eurostat, 2010) and nearly 1 out of 5 Austrian inhabitants have at least one parent of migration background (Statistik Austria, 2011) 185,592 Turks make up today the second biggest single ethnic minority in Austria (after Germans), representing 2.2% of the total population and the past datas are confirming a strong trend of growth.
